Dinner is Ready Plus Daily Stats

Hey NeverEver's!

I hope you all had an amazing Halloween! We don't have much kids in our neighborhood so there isn't much trick o' treating going on which is fine...less candy for me!

So I wanted to share with you all what I made for dinner tonight! Yes I am extremely happy with this one...I was planning it the whole week!

Let me introduce you all to the Ranch Burgers as created by the amazing & talented Jennifer from Peanut Butter & Peppers!

Jennifer has WAY better pictures then this one...but it was just as delicious, at least I think so!

Best thing is that it is only 275 calories. Plus, you get to make your own ranch dressing which is a great little twist!

Plus I already have my dinner ready to go for tomorrow...YUP I am a day ahead!

But that is because I am using a crock pot to cook it. Since I don't get home in time to cook it I am preparing it tonight as it wont be enough time to cook tomorrow.

I am cooking my garlic ribs! Can't wait to share with you how these will be for tomorrow!

Okay on to the Daily Stats!

Daily Stats Day 95:

Daily Stats Day 96:

Daily Stats Day 97:

I can't believe that I am already on day 98. It doesn't seem like that long ago that I started this blog. It has been such a journey.

So thank you all for sharing that with me!

Okay that is enough sappy-ness for me today or tonight as the case may be!

See you all tomorrow NeverEver's!

Sunday Fun Day - Playing Catch Up

Hey NeverEver's!

I hope you have all had a great 'Halloween' Weekend! Sadly, there was no parties for me this weekend. Not sure what was going on but this year was a quite Halloween. Oh well, there is always dressing up for work on Wednesday (I am thinking 80's) and next year to party it up!

So I was looking at all my posts and I just noticed that I haven't done my Daily Stats since Tuesday's Post...which was Monday's Stats. What happened this week? I am not sure but let us catch up!

Daily Stats Day 90:

So quick review on Tuesday's Food! I tried a wonderful recipe off of Eat, Live, Run, which was the 30 minute lemon brown sugar chicken!

It was so sweet yet lemon-y tart it became a favorite here in this household!

I did do a 'Calorie Counter' for it...well because I didn't know what it was. As a side note, I did use Wheat Flour not While.

Not upset with these food stats at all. It was a delicious chicken!

Okay on to Wednesday's Daily Stats!

Daily Stats Day 91:

Wednesday was a quite day. Some family came over and Mother in Law made her tomato noodle soup. Which we all added bananas to!

Daily Stats Day 92:

Thursday was fun. It was the first time I have ever done a 'What I Ate' post and I made a delicious dinner. Thank you again SkinnyTaste! Sadly my picture looked nothing like Gina's...but I am willing to bet it tasted just as yummy! Which in the end is what counts.

It was also family approved, and basically eaten, before I could get any good photos. Hubby and I invited his sister and her boyfriend over for dinner. So it was a loud and happy night!

Daily Stats Day 93:

Just a normal Friday after work for me today. Hubby had some allergies so he wanted a night in.

Daily Stats Day 94:

Saturday was a fun day. First we get woken up by the owners of the house, we live in a duplex, saying that they were going to change our windows to more energy efficient ones.

I am ALL for older houses going green...however, not when its 8 in the morning on a Saturday.

Good bye old windows I knew thee well! Good bye window bars...I shall not miss you at all.

Okay so after we were awakened and out of the house, after covering all the appliances and such in the house. Hubby and I went stove shopping! Yay!!!!

We have found a possible winner. It is KitchenAid 2 oven stove for about $1400. At Sears it was $2000 but at BestBuys it was $1400. Still need to check out Lowe's but I think we have a winner!

Never had a double stove before, so I am pretty excited for this new thing to be in my kitchen!

So after all that shopping Hubby and I were getting hungry so we stopped by Hubby's favorite place in the world...

Islands! They have this new, very delicious, Ocktoberfest Beer. It went well with my Guacamole burger! Hubby got the Golden Ale, which is a stable on their tap.

The Burger was delicious! I really have never had a better Guac burger then when I come here. So after dinner we went over to the movies to watch Silent Hill in 3D.

I had goosebumps throughout the whole movie. But, as a gamer I just wanted to come home and play the game to see where the movie went wrong...I might be playing it after I finish with all my blogging business!

Okay NeverEver's! We are finally caught up on the Daily Stats! I really never want to be this far behind on those things again and I am sorry it happened this time!

I hope you have all checked out my Guest Post  for FitKit! I have been invited to do this once a month, which I am so happy about!

On to work on the Magazine Stand Outs! (I know I am extremely late on this one). Also just one more thing...

It came in! My KLUTCHclub October box! Here was all that was in it! Can not wait to share with you how everything in the box goes!

Okay so I did lie a little bit...that wasn't the last of it. Tonight is my game!

Lets go Saints! Who Dat!!

Now its the end. Sorry for the really long post...it will teach me never to play catch up again!

Have a great rest of your Sunday NeverEver's! Let me know what you think of my Guest Post for FitKit and the KLUTCHclub goodie bag!

Daily Stats & Offered to be Guest Blogger

Hey NeverEver's,

I just realized that I didn't include the Daily Stats on Sunday's post. Oop's! Sorry everyone! Not that is was that great really...had one to make desserts.

But it is extremely important to me! I am sharing my weight loss journey here on this blog which means I am sharing the good, the bad and the ugly. I am in no way perfect nor do I have this Healthy Life figured out. However, I do feel that I am gaining my balance and am striving to show that here.

Hopefully, some of you follow me on either Facebook or Twitter, even if you don't say that you do for me ^_^. But, if you do follow me you say this little nugget of info

Now with BodyMedia, you can customize your stats to help you reach the goal you want! I picked this one which is:
Daily Burn Goal: 2500
Daily Calorie Consumption Goal: 1500
Weekly Pound Lost Goal: 2
Starting Weight: 203
Ending Weight: 125

That really isn't anything new on my 'goals' for weight loss. But what really surprised me was the Goal Weight date...which was 7/22/2013.

To me that isn't far away...I thought it had made a mistake. I even did the math myself (I really really don't like math) but it was correct! By sticking to this plan I will be at my Goal Weight of 125 in July! I am looking forward to making this into a reality!

Now on to my missed Daily Stats!

Daily Stat Day 86:

Hubby and I went out on Friday Night to head over to Islands Burgers. Very yummy...not so calorie friendly!

Daily Stats Day 87:

Saturday was a completely lazy day, with a surprise trip to Fresh & Easy to get some supplies for the soups! Not to disappointed in this day to tell the truth!

Daily Stats Day 88:

Sunday...well after the post was made Hubby and I went to go see Paranormal 4 (which was awesome and horrible all at the same time!) plus stop over at BJ's (pizza which was yummy, but I forgot the leftover's there) to watch the last of the NL games. So, as you can see BJ's is worse than Islands!

Okay so Monday was a new day! Went to the gym after work, mainly cause I was stressing from some family drama, but hey I wasn't by the time I got out of the gym!

Plus, I got requested to do a post as a Guest Blogger! I am extremely excited about this opportunity and am doing a little freak out about it to.

Can't wait to share more with you all about it as well!

Okay NeverEver's, I have to finish some laundry (yay) so see you all tomorrow!

Too Much Snacking

Hey NeverEver's,

Did anyone of you watch the Second Presidential Debate?

I don't want to make this blog all about the upcoming election so I will just say this. I am happy that my generation is taking a more serious stance in this election then the one four years ago.

Okay so I am done with the politic section of the blog lets move on shall we?

Glad you agree.

Birthday Photo's!!!

Okay just one. Now on to the MAIN issue!

So I have been recently, a week or so, been snacking WAYYY to much. Main culprit...my new job. They have so many snacks...all of which isn't healthy.

I also haven't been taking my lunch either. And I will admit...my choices haven't been that healthy.

Here was lunch yesterday,

In-n-Out...In-n-Out...Thats what a hamburger is all about!

For those of you NOT in California, that is the very catchy jingle to In-N-Out.

So I did have the Lettuce Wrapped Burger instead of having a bun but it is still more calories and money then me bring my lunch.

Which brings me to this:

So it is a little late...I know half the month is already gone. BUT, it is never to late to make sure I am taking the correct steps to get to my goals!

Daily Stats Day 81:

Again, I wasn't recording my food intake. To tell the truth I basically forgot most of the things I ate. Its all better by Tuesday though!

Daily Stats Day 82:

Okay NeverEver's lets make the rest of this month full of Healthy Snacks!

P.S. I did order that KLUTCHclub October Box to review this product! I can NOT wait to share with you all how it is!

Its like Christmas early ^_^

History in the Making

Hey NeverEver's,

So if you are living in California I am sure you have heard about the Space Shuttle Endeavor going from LAX to the California Science Museum by way of streets. If you aren't from around here well its happening!

But first dinner! Not only did we get to the 'area' of the shuttle we were all hungry. Plus it is my birthday weekend and these calories don't count right!!

So the family went to Sizzlers! I added the salad bar to my dinner and here there it is. Not to bad as a starter ^_^.

Then there came dinner. I got the Malibu Chicken. It was delicious although I didn't eat as much as I used to eat when this comes out. I believe this credit can go to me getting used to eating correctly and making better decisions.

The Hubby decided to go expensive and get some lobster. To me personally it was to 'salty' and since I never had lobster before I am not sure if this is the main taste or something that just happened there. The meat was perfect and right up my alley when I took, stole, bites.

Instead of having ice cream like I usually do I went with some Cottage Cheese with Peaches and a sprinkle of Peanut Crumbs! It was really yummy and it was really delicious with those peanut crumbs. Never had it before but it added an 'earthy' taste to it!

Okay now time for the Main Event!

Hello Space Shuttle! At this point Toyota is doing their 'commercial' while towing the shuttle across the 405 Freeway bridge.

Sorry for the gate but at the time the shuttle wasn't moving so we had to take pictures as we could.

And here is the last one. This one is one of my favorites just because I was able to get the name!

Hubby and I are thinking about going back out there tomorrow morning to get some better pictures while it is going a whooping 2 Miles Per Hour! But, then again its Saturday and sleep is so very nice!

Anyways on to the Daily Stats!

Daily Stats Day 78:

I really have to stock my new office with some healthy snacks. Right now the building is full of horrible delicious snacks!

Okay NeverEver's I am exhausted after all this history in the making!

Interview Mania and Early Birthday Dinners

Hey NeverEver's,

Sorry I missed out on posting yesterday. It was just interview mania, which is great but also very tiring. A total of 3 different interviews, 2 of which I think I rocked their socks off. At least I hope so ^_^.

Had another one today, but happily it took me around the area of an old friend. Which old friend's birthday was a week ago and mine in less then 2 weeks. So we decided to get together and eat!

Sadly, I didn't bring my camera...I know bad blogger bad!

So we went to take advantage of the endless pasta bowl over at Olive Garden. I have seen the commercials for it but never tried it. Let me tell you I wasn't able to get past the first bowl, I wasn't even able to FINISH the first bowl.

Well with no pictures I can't really show you how yummy it was. But it was good!

Daily Stats Day 68:

For a lazy Sunday I am pretty happy with this one!

Daily Stats Day 69:

I really wish I got up in the morning to work out before heading to all those interviews!

Daily Stats Day 70:

This is what happens when you are sitting down driving in the car then eating a wonderful Early Birthday Dinners. But hey those calories don't count right ^_~

Sorry this is such a short post but I am tired after driving all day these last 2 days. Seriously, I can't believe I have another interview tomorrow and a phone one on Thursday.

Which is all AMAZING but I am not sure if I want to start working again or heading to school for court reporting.

So NeverEver's, what do you think do Birthday Dinner Calories count?

Weekend Updates: Hiking, Neptune, and Mazes Oh My

Hey NeverEver's,

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I can't believe that it is already Sunday. It seems like the weekend just flies by...I would seriously like it to slow down, maybe smell the flowers? California in the Fall does have its colors!

So Saturday was pretty busy. Hubby and I went hiking in the Los Padres Mountains. We still can't seem to find the swimming areas, but that just means we have to keep heading back ^_^.

Last time we were here it wasn't so 'Green' nor was there so much water. I loved how it looked!

That fallen tree wasn't there either. Of course we all had to have our turn crossing it. There was a few times it 'bounced' that it got a little heart racing!

Max, the awesome friend / photographer, was the first to try the fallen tree. How brave is that!

Hubby was the last but he decided he wanted to jump a little right in the middle. The whole tree, or is it a log now, decided it wanted to move as well. We all left the tree alone after that.

Forget hiking...you burn calories trying to navigate over rocks! I swear it! Plus its fun and you seriously feel so adventurous trying to get around!

Hubby caught me on mid-leap! I was so ecstatic that I actually made it. Personally, I was thinking it was going to end in a splash!

So after all that hiking we decided we were hungry. Some how we ended up near Malibu, CA and stopped at Neptune's Net.

They have an awesome walk in area where you can pick out your own beer or other drinks. I went with the Shock Top, Hubby with the NewCastle and Max with the Stella. So many different tastes.

By the time food arrived we were all very hungry. I went with the BBQ Pulled Pork, which was delicious, and Hubby went with the shrimp and Calamari. The Shrimp was yummy as well!

So while we were eating we found out that Hubby's sister got free tickets to a Halloween Maze by their house. Needless to say we HAD to go!

The Haunted Hollywood Sports, which on non Halloween days, is actually a HUGE paintball place. What they did was each of the 4 mazes were created out of their original paintball 'war' grounds. The mazes were creepy and thrilling!

Plus they also had this thing called 'Zombie KillZones' where you get a paintball gun, no paintball's just air, and you can SHOOT at the zombies. Sadly our tickets didn't include that BUT we are thinking about going back. I mean how many other things can you shoot at zombies?

Anyways before I forget, Daily Stats!

Daily Stats Day 66:

It was the Cookie Oreo Shake. And to tell the truth it wasn't very fulfilling.

Daily Stats Day 67:

See climbing over rocks seriously burns those calories!

Okay so I am leaving you all with this. It is ON between the Hubby and I. Hopefully tomorrow I will be writing and gloating, about how my  Saints won the game!

Hope you all enjoyed the pictures! I know there was LOTS of them, but it really is an amazing spot that had to be shared!

Have a good rest of your Sunday NeverEver's!
