I am actually creating a page dedicated to the races that I am going to be doing this year. Never in a million years would I have thought that I would write those words ^_^.
Currently, I am in a challenge to do 13 5k's in 2013. Which as I mentioned before there is something really satisfying trying for an almost impossible challenge and seeing slowly but surely it go from impossible to completed.
It is a great feeling and at the end of the year I will say that I did 13 5k's in 1 year!
So with that in mind here are the races ^_~
This was my first ever 5k and it will always hold a huge place in my heart.
My time, although it wasn't an officially timed race there was a clock, was 48:30. Not the best time but it is all mine!

The ColorRun was done! And it was COLORFULLY AWESOME! Highly recommend it! Also I was 10 minutes faster in this race!!!!

Doing a Virtual Race is very different then doing a Normal Race. You don't get that 'Crowd' high like you do with everyone running around you.BUT, you do get pushed to finish through those 3.1 miles.
So the Team Challenege 5k Virtual was good to me!

So even though I have been with the #13in2013 group since the beginning of this year I have never done one of their Virtual Runs. I missed the one before this so I KNEW that I had to do the St. Patricks day Virtual Run!
It was as fund as I thought it would be. I even beat my last Virtual Run time by 10 minutes.
Did I mention that I actually did this on St. Patricks day and I HAD to wear green ^_~

This is another Virtual Run with #Anywhere5k. This one was all about Cancer. Which I have to say really touched me. I have done runs before but nothing that really centered on an issue. This was an issue!
Run for Rhodes 5K was a good run. Not my fastest but not my slowest either.

Yay for race #8 on my record! Really looking forward to this one...because...the Hubby and some friends are going to be doing this one with me! Yup that is right...the Hubby is now my official race partner! Not sure how it happened but it did. This race is from the creators of Healthy Races over in Temecula, CA!
It wasn't in the area of the dreaded mountain! Yay!

Race #9 is all about the virtual!
This is my first virtual that I got a medal with and only my 2nd medal. It was so big that I just knew I am going to be doing the other ones in this series.
Already signed up for Green Lantern Run...but this one...this one is all about WONDER WOMAN!

This one is my #10 race. And it was all about Belle!
I loved the bib and just being called 'Mademoiselle'. I mean isn't it soo cool!
However, this one had a worse time then before. I haven't had a 57 min run/walk in a while and I wasn't that happy. But I finished it and that is what counts!

My latest race is one for Mulan!
I was looking at all the medals that were available at that time and I just loved how this one looked. It showed her so graceful but still such a fighter!
So of course it was a had to get run!
I did go over my mileage on this one but that is because I got lost in the in music!
